Rob Brennan

Rob is an Assistant Professor and ADAPT Funded Investigator in the ‘Managing the Global Conversation Theme’

He has over 20 years experience in both industry and academia, having worked at the Ericsson Network Management Research Centre and two startups before his current role in Trinity College Dublin.

Thoughout his career his focus has been on web systems, management, interoperability and semantic mapping. He is active in European H2020 funding where he developed and coordinated the ALIGNED project on quality-focused data and software engineering.

He is the author of over 60 peer-reviewed publications including 16 journal articles. He is also an editor or named contributor to 5 international standards on internet and telecommunications technology at the OMG, IETF, 3GPP and TMF.

Rob’s current research interests include data governance, data quality and Linked Data systems on the web.
