Professor Declan O’Sullivan is an ADAPT PI, Associate Professor and Director of Research in Trinity College Dublin’s School of Computer Science and Statistics.
His primary research focus is on developing techniques for the agile, managed and sustainable integration of data/information. He is recognised for advancing research in both the Semantic Web and Linked Data communities where he and his team is advancing the idea of autonomic mapping. Within ADAPT he also leads the Ethics and Privacy research initiative. He and his team engage with industry partners on topics such as data integration, data quality, data lifecycle management, privacy and ethics of data processing.The author of over 170 peer-reviewed publications, he has received significant funding from national and European agencies as a Principal Investigator and Co-Principal Investigator.
