Professor Declan O’Sullivan is an ADAPT PI, Professor in Computer Science, Director of Research in Trinity College Dublin’s School of Computer Science and Statistics.
His primary research focus is on developing techniques for the agile, managed and sustainable integration of data/information. He is recognised for advancing research in both the Semantic Web and Linked Data communities where he and his team is advancing the idea of autonomic mapping. Within ADAPT he leads the Transparent Digital Governance research strand, encompassing data governance, data integration, data ethics, data protection, data quality and data value. The author of over 230 peer-reviewed publications, he has received significant funding from national and European agencies as a Principal Investigator and Co-Principal Investigator.
